• No un-authorized parties or events.
• Please respect our neighbors regarding late night noise.
• We are flexible about pets on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire the concierge at mau@villascr.com with your specific details (age, size, breed) for a review (additional requirements regarding security deposits may apply once pre-approved). Service animals are always welcome.
• Please respect local laws.
• We at Casa Castillo strive to provide the best experience for our guests while preserving the beauty of the local nature and protecting the wildlife. We are asking guests to be respectful of the animals residing in the area and avoid loud parties/noise after 9:00 p.m.
• Preserving the health and natural behavior of the wildlife is critical: please do not feed the animals
• Recycling is very much appreciated, and proper bins are provided.
• Smoking is not allowed (Your security deposit may be forfeit if your party does not comply)
• The use of fireworks is strictly forbidden in this property, as it disturbs and deeply affects the wildlife.

Security Recomendations

Please make sure to lock all doors, sliding doors and windows before leaving the house or going to sleep. Please be aware that monkeys will come inside and may steal/destroy your belongings if you leave the sliding doors open and the house unattended.

Don't leave your belongings unattended inside your car, at restaurants or at the beach.

It's best to leave your passports and such important documents at the house, we provide safety boxes.

USE THE TV:
Power on the TV: Press the power button on the TV or use the remote control to turn it on.
Explore the home screen: Use the remote control to navigate the TV's home screen. You'll find apps and features displayed there.
Select apps: Choose the desired app, such as Netflix or YouTube, by highlighting it on the screen and pressing the OK or Select button on the remote.
Use the remote control: Use the remote control's navigation buttons to browse through menus, select options, and control volume.
Enjoy streaming: Once you've selected an app, enter your credentials to enjoy your own account.
Power off the TV: When you're done using the Smart TV, power it off using the remote control or the TV's power button.

USE THE A/C UNITS:
There is an individual Air Conditioner Unit in every room of the house. To operate, find the remote on each bedroo and press the ON button. Make sure that the unit is in either “automatic” or the “cool” mode. This units work best in the range between 72 – 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not operate AC units in rooms with open doors or windows. Please make sure to turn off AC units if you are not in the room.

THINGS TO DO
MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK
The world-famous attraction that everyone wants to see is a 5-minute drive away from Casa Castillo. Ask your concierge about the best day and time to go and how to get there. He can book it for you.
MARINA PEZ VELA
Make your way down to the Quepos Harbor and find worldclass restaurants, shopping and ocean activities.
PLAYITAS BEACH
This is the preferred hanging spot for surfers and locals looking for a less crowded beach. If you have a 4WD car, you can take it down and park right on the beach under the trees!
BIESANZ BEACH
A beautiful protected bay with calm waters, suitable for swimming and snorkeling. You can rent snorkeling gear, kayaks and Jet Skis right at the beach.
USEFUL TIPS
Beach
Remember that the tropical sun is extremely strong; plenty of sun block (above 45 SPF or more).
Try to be minimalist at the beach; take as few things as possible and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Colorful towels are for beach.

Check out is prior to 11:00 a.m. We do our best to accommodate late check-outs, so please contact your concierge. We can only accommodate depending on availability. No need to clean before you leave, our house staff will take care of everything. If you feel like their job has been outstanding, please let them know and feel free to give them a tip, they will be most grateful.
Please let your concierge know your expected departure time so he can be at the house to pick up keys.
